23 months this week!

 Cleaning the windows with Mommy.
We are "fish-sitting" Ellie's fish "Ish" and Olivia has enjoyed feeding him and watching him "go swimming".

At 23 months, Olivia is a whirlwind of activity!
Her favorite books to read: Olivia, what do you see? (by Uncle Bryan and Alison), The Giving Tree, Elmo and the little Duckies, Numbers, 8 little Monkeys jumping on the bed, Kiwi and Pear, Panda Bear Panda Bear What do you see?

Favorite Foods: hasn't changed much... carrots, cheese, toast, pretzels, cheerios, yogurt with granola, oatmeal with pureed prunes, mum-mums, donuts (from the Amish family at the farmer's market) and ice cream. We rode our bikes to Ben & Jerry's this week and she enjoyed an ice cream cone (cookies and cream)!!

Favorite Phrases: Dunkin/Mommy/Daddy where are you? Self! Ya-Ya do it (Ya-Ya is her way of saying Olivia), another book?, pig/dolly/elmo is sleeping, Ellie/Reeve/Gladys/Michelle Hug?, Nice Hug, Mommy book now, Dunkin's sleeping. She is is stringing 3 and 4 words together to make coherent sentences which is so fun to see!

Favorite Activities: READING--she loves to read by herself and with us. Her other favorite activities involve anything outside--riding the bike with Mommy, walking to the pond, going to the park and visiting the cats a few houses down from us, and school. She wakes up nearly every morning and asks me if it is a school day?

Sleeping: Naps from about 12:45pm-2:45pm... sometimes more, sometimes less and goes to bed at 7:30 and sleeps until 7:30am. She usually sings to herself and talks for a bit before she eventually settles down to sleep.

  1. I haven't checked this for a couple of weeks and my-oh-my look at her! I loved reading about what she is doing at 23 months. And, a reference to your last post, muffin tops really are the best part of the muffin (let's be honest). So in reality, she just has really good taste. LOL
