This weekend we dealt with high temperatures around 104 and 105
degrees. Stepping outside the house felt like stepping into a hot car
that had been sitting in the sun in a parking lot all afternoon. We spent our mornings walking the dog, playing in the park and
splashing in the backyard pool while it was a cool 85-95 degrees outside.
The afternoons were filled with activities inside the house such as....
reading with Daddy!
Building with her MegaBlocks--she is obsessed with these right now!
And then... surprise! Uncle Bryan came for a visit!
Everyone (including Dunkin) had so much fun running around the backyard and playing in the kiddie pool. Bryan and Nathan even humored me and played some Yahtzee and Scrabble last night. What a lovely surprise:)
