When we moved to Delaware we bribed the kids by telling them that they would love DE because of all the snow we would get. Finally, our bribe came true this weekend. We were originally supposed to get close to 2 feet and ended up with only about a foot. This was much better for sledding, igloo building and shoveling the driveway (I LOVE shoveling the driveway).
We pretty much had a fire going all weekend. It was wonderful to come in from the snow to a real fire!
This is the local sledding hill in our neighborhood. It was packed with kids with sleds, parents (with hot drinks-ahem) and snowboarders. So fun!
The kids were fearless!
