We also spent time at their school for Homecoming--this is James with his good friend, Brophy.
We also managed to squeeze in a visit to Longwood Gardens--Nana's first time there!
It is such a wonderful garden and we had such a great time exploring together.
Then Halloween arrived--Olivia was a bumblebee and James dressed as Jay Walker from Ninjago.
We walked around our neighborhood with our neighbor, Samantha. The kids spent over an hour trick or treating! Their faces were so happy the entire evening.
Examining their loot. Olivia also collected money for UNICEF--she did a great job asking for money and telling the neighbors how she was trying to help kids that "live in malaria-stricken countries". She managed to collect $12 ($5 from us). Olivia's costume was mostly homemade and she proclaimed that homemade costumes are the best. James was obviously not homemade but there is always next year. They are already planning their costumes for next Halloween.
