Pumpkin Time!

Last year we went pumpkin picking at Carrigan Farms and had a great time. The farmers took us on a hay ride out to a petting zoo with some of their animals hanging out in the midst of the farmland. Then the tractor took us over to the pumpkin patch so we could pick out our own pumpkins. Once we arrived back at the main farmhouse we were given fresh cups of their apple cider. It felt like a true fall day which is hard to come by living in North Carolina. Olivia enjoyed this year's festivities even more than last year!

This is a photo of Olivia from pumpkin-picking last year! She has a lot more hair now:)
On the hay ride with Daddy... now quite sure what to think at this point...
 She spotted her first pig!
 We tried...
 A rare full family photo...
She loved traipsing around the pumpkin patch without any help from us. Unfortunately she tripped over the vines every few feet.
She followed the two Golden Retrievers on the farm for awhile. In the photo above she is shouting "Dog". Her favorite word.
Olivia loves tractors this month. We have a tractor book from the library and she always requests it. She loved this tractor until we had her sit in the seat. That made her a bit nervous.
Just hanging in the pumpkin patch...

  1. I love her pig-spotting expression! What a fun day. It was also fun to see baby Olivia and toddler Olivia - what a difference a year makes. :)

  2. It's so hard to believe that she's getting so big! I sure do miss seeing all the little girls (Z, A, & O)
