Yay for Summer!

It is finally consistently warm down here in North Carolina and we are loving it! Olivia and James are enjoying hanging out at the local pool and playing in our own makeshift pool in the backyard. These two love the water!

James is definitely trying to talk now. He will say hot which sounds like "ot" when I am drinking my coffee and Nathan has confirmed that he pointed to Dunkin and said dog. Hopefully this trend continues because we love to hear his little voice.

James finished nursing last week as I decided that we all need to get more sleep and the pediatrician suspected he was getting up early to nurse. He did okay initially but did find his boppy at one point and carried it to me crying. Sweet boy. We are less than a week in, but he has been going back to sleep after his 5something am waking if Nathan goes in and rubs his back. However, Nathan needs to figure out a way to sneak out of the room in the morning so he doesn't have to spend his last hour of sleep on the cold, hard floor.

Olivia's fear of moose has revived itself. We had a babysitter on Saturday night (celebrated our 6th wedding anniversary!) and she sang a song to Olivia about Moose. Olivia would not go to sleep that night until well after we got home and kept talking about the Moose that was going to come into her window. Hopefully this is just a short phase.

James won't keep his sunglasses on but he will (finally!) keep his safari hat on (that is what his teachers at school call this hat).

Olivia and her good buddy from school (also from the neighborhood).
